How to Create a New TrainTrack Database To create a new database, go to File | New Database on the Main Menu to open the Create New Database Dialog Box. Type the name of the new database in the File Name Text Box. You don't need to type the .mdb extension; it will be added automatically. Click Save to create the new database. ![]() The Files of Type Box allows you to select "All files (*.*)" so you can see the names of other types of files stored in the directory. If you check this box, you can copy the data from lists in the current database into the new database. Placing a check in this box opens the Copy Lists to New Database Dialog Box where you can choose which lists you want to copy. ![]() The Default Railroad and Default Scale check boxes will become enabled when the corresponding list boxes above them are checked.
