How to Print

The printing function was designed to print a list of reporting marks which you can take to your local hobby shop with you and use as an aid to prevent you from buying equipment with duplicate numbers.

To print, go to File | Print Reporting Marks List on the Main Menu to open the Print Options Dialog Box. After printing, settings you make here will be remembered next time you run TrainTrack.

Only the cards listed in the Tree View Pane will be printed. Use the Search/Find function to select cards to be printed/displayed.

Page Title

The page title appears at the top of every printed page. Here you can type in a different title, if you prefer.

Check Boxes

Normally, reporting marks are printed one after another in columns. If this option is checked, a new column will be started for each equipment type (locomotives, freight cars, passenger cars).

If this is checked, a small star () will be placed after each reporting mark whose card does not yet have a picture. This would be handy when the place where you take pictures is not near your computer. (This is independent of the Tree View Pane Options Mark cards without pictures check box setting).

Print What?

These check boxes determine what equipment types will be included when printed. Remember that only cards listed in the Tree View Pane will be printed.

Font Size

Use these to determine the font size used to print the reporting marks. The smaller size allows more items per page.

6 Point Prints six columns per page with about 90 reporting marks per column (about 540 reporting marks per page).

8 Point Prints four columns per page with about 70 reporting marks per column (about 280 reporting marks per page).
