The Splash Screen pops up when the program starts. You cannot disable it, but you can click on it or press any key on the keyboard to close it immediately. It will go away by itself in about six seconds.
The Splash Screen shows a Southern Pacific fueling facility at Tucson in the 60's. The About Screen photo was also taken in Tucson in the 60's.
