The Tree Pane is the directory tree seen on the left of the TrainTrack Main Window. The order of the information shown will depend on how the Tree View Options are set. The number of items initially shown under each category when you start TrainTrack will depend on how the Tree Expansion Options are set.
Below are two different views of the tree pane shown with the freight car section fully expanded.
You can adjust the width of the Tree Pane by clicking on its left border and dragging it to the desired size. You can set the Tree View Options so that TrainTrack will remember this width next you run the program.
To temporarily change the sort order, right click in any empty space and click on Sort By Railroad or Sort By Type.
